Our Story: Over A Decade of Empowering Purpose-Driven Youth

Since our first physical gathering on October 15, 2016, hosted at Courage Christian Center in Philadelphia, Every Youth A Leader (EYAL) has consistently pursued one mission — to raise a generation of purpose-driven, empowered youth committed to leading change in their communities and beyond. Born out of a simple vision to provide youths with entrepreneurial and life skills, the organization has now evolved into a global virtual youth leadership platform shaping lives across continents.

‎The Beginning: 2016–2017

‎The inaugural conference in 2016 introduced teens and young adults to foundational entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, with practical sessions that simulated real-world experiences. From business plan pitches to a live “Shark Tank”-style investor interaction, the spark of innovation was lit.

‎By 2017, the momentum grew. More teens joined, and the conference expanded to include sessions on resume building, habit formation, branding, social media ethics, and scholarship opportunities. A standout moment came when two speakers — once mentees — returned as mentors, paying it forward to the next generation. These formative years laid the foundation for what would become a dynamic, youth-led, and digitally accessible global impact initiative.

Our Global Virtual Shift and Evolution

‎In response to a growing global demand, Every Youth A Leader transitioned into a fully virtual experience, making its resources and events available to youths from any part of the world. Since this shift, our reach has expanded dramatically, with hundreds of participants joining each year from different countries and backgrounds.

‎A hallmark of our movement is the annual Every Youth A Leader Virtual Conference.  Each edition dives deep into topics like purpose discovery, leadership, personal development, financial independence, scholarship access, and entrepreneurship. We also host essay and innovation competitions with prizes that recognize and encourage creativity, impact, and initiative.

Online News Reading

‎Ongoing Impact: Weekly Video Series and Youth Trainings

‎We publish weekly video topics on our social media every Monday. These topical video series address real-life issues relevant to youth — from health, hygiene, money, relationships, and academic excellence to walking with God and job readiness.

‎Additionally, our skills training program was introduced to give young people practical and spiritual tools for life and career. Participants are exposed to world-class training rooted in Christian values, equipped with a skill of their choice, and offered internship opportunities (where possible). These free trainings offer real value to unemployed or underemployed graduates looking to gain work experience and build competencies.

Over 10 Years of Purpose-Driven Growth

As we mark our 10th anniversary, we look back at a journey filled with passion, growth, and impact. What began with a handful of teens in a church hall has now grown into an organization that has reached and equipped hundreds of youths through virtual conferences, mentoring, training, and social media content.

‎We believe this is only the beginning.

We are committed to helping every young person discover their God-given purpose, develop character, and lead with vision. Whether through weekly videos, innovative challenges, or values-based trainings, we are building a generation of grounded, capable, and visionary young leaders.

‎Join us as we continue to empower the next decade of change-makers.

‎Because every youth is a leader.
